How to use “/spectate”

In the 1.15 snapshot, a new command was added to Minecraft: /spectate. Today I will be taking a look at some of the features that this commands has as well as some of the weaknesses. It will definitely be an interesting addition and I can think if a few ways that this could be very useful! Essentially what the command does, is it allows you to enter the spectating mode of an entity, like when you right click on something when in spectator mode.
